I've currently three books on the go:
Lucifer and the Child by Ethel Mannin (1945) - Fantasy/occult novel about a young girl's growing friendship with a stranger she calls Lucifer. Very good so far (I'm about halfway through).
The Wondersmith and Other Macabre Tales edited by Peter Tremayne - Anthology of Irish fantasy/horror stories from the 70s (though the stories are all older). Features Maturin, Dunsany, Fitz-James O'Brien, Sheridan Le Fanu, Shiel and Stoker along with little essays on each author.
Henry Cow: The World Is a Problem by Benjamin Piekut - I've been reading this for months now (I think I started it in November?!) and it is a slog. The first 3-4 chapters were interesting (any parts with Faust naturally took my interest) but it's becoming increasingly evident that what Henry Cow excelled at was not experimental rock music but tedious meetings.

Currently reading The Gnostics by Tobias Churton, several decades old but still a decent overview of the discovery of the Nag Hammadi scriptures.
Next up are Patrick Cowley's Mechanic Fantasy Box journal of pre-AIDS gay sex experiences, and Derek Jarman's Modern Nature.

The quarantine has given me time to catch up on my reading. I had 43 books stacked, next to the bed. I am down to 15. Here are the two I am currently reading.
1. Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, by Dee Brown, nonfiction. A tragic book, about the atrocious genocide against Native Americans, committed by white settlers, in order to steal their land.
2. Soul Mountain, by Gao Xingjian, fiction. An intriguing story about a man who undertakes a journey to the mysterious Lingshan. He has no idea how to get there, based on unclear directions. But he can’t stop his feet, from moving him forward.

A while back someone brought up H.P. Lovecraft, and I realized it's been some years since I read any of his stuff, so currently going through the 3 volumes of complete works.
